Meet the Freshmen Student Council Members

The results are in for the Freshman Student Council here at SUA after voting closed on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. The SUA News interviewed each of the new council members. Here is a short bio of each elected official.
Ella Hertzfeld
Ella Hertzfeld is the new Student President. She was a member of the JA, but originally came from Lial Catholic School. Her goal as President is for everyone to make their years at SUA count. Ella says she will do everything in her power to bring the girls of Saint Ursula Academy's wonderful memories, along with her beliefs in service and giving back.
“I want to bring more fundraisers into this year for charities such as the Victory Center and Feed Toledo,” said Hertzfeld. “I am so grateful for all of my peers, and I promise to always be the best I can be, not just for myself but for them. I am so beyond grateful for this opportunity to be freshman class president!”
Ella looks forward to bringing her ideas and strengths to the SUA community.
Aubrey Massey
Freshman Aubrey Massey has been elected as Vice President here at SUA. She came to SUA in the 8th grade for one year in the Junior Academy. Before that, she attended Toledo Christian. She plans to make SUA a comfortable space for others to express their ideas.
Aubrey is extremely happy to have her position on the council.
“I'm so excited to be the freshman's Student Council Vice President,” the freshman said.
Izabella Rizzo
Izabella Rizzo also attended the JA but previously came from Anthony Wayne. As a Class Representative, Izabella’s plan is to unite her class and make the sisterhood even better. She wants to make sure that everyone in our class is included.
“I'm so grateful to be on the student council because it's always been a dream of mine.” Rizzo said.
Brooklyn Bellafronte
Brooklyn Bellafronte is a Class Representative who attended the JA, but formerly resided at Beverly Elementary School in Toledo.
“I plan to listen to everyone's ideas and share them at meetings to make activities here at SUA more unique and student-oriented.” Brooklyn said. Brooklyn said she can't wait to make the most of this year with everyone as a student council representative.
Mackenzie Williams
Mackenzie Williams came to SUA the last year of Junior High, attending the JA. She formerly came from Anthony Wayne/Notre Dame and is a class representative. Her plan is to help here at SUA. Mackenzie wants to continue to meet all her new classmates as well as build on her current friendships.
“One of the activities that I am most excited to plan this year is Intramurals. Intramurals help our class connect and have some friendly competitions against other grades. I'm hoping for a wonderful school year,” Mackenzie’s states.
Bella Smith
Bella Smith is a new Freshman Class Representatives. She comes from Saint Joseph Sylvania, and Bella says that she wants to be able to help others while representing our class in a meaningful way.
Bella said she is thrilled about this position saying, “I am really excited for this opportunity and hearing everyone’s ideas!”
Reaghan Meyer
Freshman Reaghan Meyer is new to SUA and is a Class Representative. Coming from Saint Joe’s Sylvania, she plans to help SUA to create a more positive and friendly environment for all students!
Reaghan said, “My wish for all students at SUA is for everyone to be happy!”
